Fransisca Morales, age 77, died Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Western
Prairie Senior Living Community in Ulysses, Kansas. She was born
November 8, 1945, in Anson, Texas, the daughter of Nasario and Josefina
(Ramirez) Guzman.
Fransisca grew up in Del Rio, Texas. She married Pedro Morales on
January 30, 1974. Fransisca loved to cook and take food for potluck
dinners at Templo Nueva Vida in Ulysses. She enjoyed watching Family
Feud on TV. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed going to Las
Vegas. Fransisca treasured the time she spent with her family, kids and
grandkids.
Fransisca is survived by her husband, Pedro of their home; ten children,
Josefina (Josie) Molina and husband Erbey of Johnson, Edwardo (Junior)
Flores, Jr. and wife M. Elvira of Ulysses, Blanca Rodriguez and husband
Tony of Ulysses, Dimas Guerrero and wife Yesenia of Gridley, California,
Domingo Guerrero of Midland, Texas, Micaela (Mickey) Cortez and husband
Juan of Midland, Texas, Isidro Morales of Scott City, Cesareo Morales
and wife Ruby of Salina, Martin Morales and wife Jennifer of Eufaula,
Oklahoma, and Jose Luis Morales and wife Melissa of Ulysses; step-son,
Pedro Morales and wife Rosie of Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico; seven
sisters, four brothers; 41 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and
52 great-grandchildren.
Fransisca is preceded in death by her parents, Nasario and Josefina
Guzman; son, Edwardo Flores; and grandson, Tony Rodriguez, Jr.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the
Oasis Church in Ulysses with Pastor Rafael Franco officiating.
Interment will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery. Visitation will be
Friday, April 14, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral
