The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects.

The letting took place April 20, 2022, in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.

District One — Northeast

Atchison ‑ 59‑3 KA‑5999‑01 ‑ U.S. 59, at eight locations beginning approximately 148 feet south of 222nd Street north to approximately 58 feet north of Ottawa Road, guard fence, 9.5 miles, J & J Contractors Inc., Iola, Kansas, $1,651,471.67.

District Two — North Central

Saline ‑ 85 C‑5061‑01 ‑ Simpson Road from Magnolia Road to Crawford Street, grading, 2.0 miles, Malm Construction Company, Lindsborg, Kansas, $858,148.44.

Miami ‑ 61 N‑0709‑01 ‑ Metcalf Road from W. 287th Street to S. 2nd Street in Louisburg, grading and surfacing, 0.9 mile, Miles Excavating, Inc., Basehor, Kansas, $4,229,588.10.
