Dana LeeAnn Popp, 68, of Haven, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at her home. She was born June 16, 1954 in Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of Sylvester and Louise (Gillen) Wendler.
She graduated from Haven High School with the class of 1972. She later attended Emporia Technical College.
Dana was united in marriage to Hal D. Popp on July 14, 1973 in Hutchinson. He survives of the home.
She worked as a florist and agronomist in the horticulture department at the Hutchinson Community College greenhouse.
Dana was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hutchinson. She also taught wood carving and painting classes at the Delos V. Smith Senior Center in Hutchinson.
She is also survived by her four children, Ryan D. Popp of Pleasant Hill, MO, Nicolas A. Popp of Parkville, MO, Kayleen Rhea Popp of Cedar Falls, IA, and Adam W. Popp of Haven; eight grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters.
Dana was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation is planned. Services are pending and will be announced later.
