Linda Lou (Siebert) Campbell

She was Born to Rex Siebert and Olga (Stucklick) February 17, 1945 in Marion, Kansas. Linda married Duane Haselhorst in 1965. She was widowed with three sons in 1968: Roger, David (Shellie) and Darren (Carlene). In 1969, Linda met Bob (Robert Campbell). She accredited her guardian angel for sending him to her, and married him that same year. They were blessed with two children, Krista (Jim DeMars) and Matthew (Tina) both of Salina. The Haselhorst family fully embraced their marriage. Linda is preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, Vernolis, and a half brother, David Tsumpes, and many in-laws on both sides of the family.
She is survived by her sister in-law Norma Campbell (Price), brother Ladd Siebert (Mary Jo) of South Dakota, brother John Siebert (Marianne) Florence, KS; half-brothers William Tsumpes (TX) and Brad Tsumpes(CA); sisters and brother in-laws of the Haselhorst family, Ellis County, KS, Doris Zimmerman (Carl), Donetta Lang (Donny), Debbie Hatfield (Glen dec.), Irvin (JR) Haselhorst (Gail), Eddie Schuckman (Roberta dec.), Dale Haselhorst (Shelley); grandchildren, Duane and Savonnah Haselhorst, Grant, Kasey and Emily DeMars, Keni, Ty (Mabyn) Campbell, K-Lee and Aaron (Waters) Shaye and Vallen Haselhorst; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Linda also had a beautiful circle of women to call friends.
Linda was a homemaker and had a home-based plaster business. She was employed by Advance Auto parts in the 1980s until her retirement. Over the past 40 years, Linda’s lifelong passion has been towards the care and protection of the unborn and their mothers. Her volunteer work as the Director of Birthright has helped hundreds of women and children in our community. Linda has been an active member of St. Mary Queen of the Universe Parish her whole adult life.
The visitation will be Thursday, June 6 at Ryan Mortuary from 4-8 p.m. with a rosary vigil at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 7 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church 230 E. Cloud, Salina, with Fr. Kevin Weber, as celebrant. A burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
