Charlene Ann Weigel (formerly Charlene Walters), 91, of Salina, was born to Joseph and Mary Walters on March 10, 1930 in Hays, Kansas passed away peacefully on August 9, 2021.
She was married to her sweetheart, Donald Gene Weigel (deceased) for 63 years. They had four children, Kathleen Weigel of Topeka, Karen Beil of Olathe, Donald M Weigel of Hutchinson, and Dennis Weigel of Salina. She leaves behind nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Charlene was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Mary Queen of the Universe Church, Salina, KS. She will always be remembered for her unending love of family.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
