WOODBINE - A minor earthquake shook part of Dickinson County late Friday afternoon.

A 2.3 magnitude earthquake struck at 4:46 p.m. Friday southwest of Woodbine, according to the Kansas Geological Survey. The quake was centered just west of Quail Road between 1100 Avenue and 1200 Avenue.
