Michael Floyd Asbridge, 61, of Salina, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Salina Regional Health Center. Mike was born on November 1, 1963, in Salina to Connie J. (Aills) and Gerald S. “Jake” Asbridge Sr.

Mike worked for Loux Home Improvement which was owned by his grandmother LeeElla Esse and Arthur J Loux during his teenage years. Then he worked for Ballou Construction, Salina, Midwest Siding, Salina, Don Keeler Construction, Salina, and Tony Pizza, Salina. As with his siblings, Mike also worked for LA Hacienda, Salina. Mike was a jack of all trades and would help anyone with a job that needed done.

Having met the love of his life in 1994, eight years later in 2002, he married his love, Candace Charles. During their 31-year love-relationship, Mike and Candy by a daughter, Stephanie M. Asbridge; son, Michael Asbridge, all the home; survived by a daughter, prior to his marriage, Felicia Horting (Devon) and grandson, Forest Horrting, all of Salina; his mother, Connie J. (Aills) Asbridge Wilson, of Salina; step-mother, Janis Poskey, of Washington, IL; grandmother, Betty Aills, of Salina. Mike also had a great love for his siblings, Douglas S. Asbridge, of Salina, LeeElla (James) Vittoe, Laura L. Asbridge, all of Salina, and Jera Lynn (Tegan) McCullough, of Washington, IL, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of many friends.

Mike is preceded in death by his father, Jerry “Jake” Asbridge Sr.; grandparents LeeElla Esse, Alvin and Winnifred Burch, Lester Aills, and Ray Asbridge; brother, Allen “Blaine” Reed Asbridge; brother, Jerry S. Asbridge; and sister, Winifred K. Hall.

Mike is a member of Ray Ave Baptist Church, of Salina, which was started by his uncle Dr. Bob Aills who also precedes him in death.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday October 31, at Roselawn Memorial Heights Chapel, 1920 East Crawford Street, Salina, Kansas.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Ray Ave Baptist Church, with his brother Douglas S. Asbridge officiating, along with Pastor John Day.
