The Saline County Road and Bridge Department has announced the closing of N. Holmes Road for drainage work.
N. Holmes Road will be closed to through traffic from Humbargar Road to Ottawa Road starting Friday for the replacement of a cross-road drainage structure. Weather permitting, the roadway should be opened by Jan. 14.
Local traffic is asked to find alternate routes around the project area. Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private property within the sections of closed road at all times but only from the side upon which the property lies.
