Salina Police investigating Valmont burglary that occurred after business hours

Salina Police are currently investigating a burglary that occurred at Valmont after business hours.

According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Sunday at around 6:00 am, officers were dispatched to Valmont (1100 N. Ohio) for the report of burglary.

SPD stated that employees of Valmont reported when they arrived to the business, a burglary evidently occurred. 

SPD determined at approximately 3:00 am, a man with a mask entered the business and began collecting tools and various items, which he loaded into a company white Ford F150, attached with a black metal and wood trailer with a welder attached to the trailer, before leaving the area.

It is believed the truck possibly has a Nebraska tag.

The type of company car and additional details of the truck are unknown at this time.

Reportedly, there was no forced entry and the business is still determining what exactly was taken.

Total loss is valued at $22,500.

The investigation is ongoing.
