Minor earthquake strikes southwest of Gypsum Tuesday

GYPSUM - A minor earthquake shook part of southeastern Saline County Tuesday.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.1 magnitude quake struck at 5:19 p.m. Tuesday southwest of Gypsum. It was centered north of E. Hedberg Road between S. Whitmore Road and S. Niles Road.
