Guardians of the home reported to SPD that the trio could be possibly connected to the crime, due their room having a large number of vape items.
Officers then determined the suspects could be connected to the burglary and took all three into custody.
All three were interviewed by SPD, and officers determined one of the 17-year olds and the 18-year old were connected to the crime. Moreover, SPD stated the trio may have attempted to burglarize two other vape shops in Salina (Smokes 4 Less & Vape N Cigar).
On Friday, December 12 SPD published a Crimestoppers report for tips regarding the crime.
SPD booked Kayden Dayberry (18) into the Saline County Jail for the requested charges of Criminal Damage to Property and Burglary.
The 17-year olds were placed on the same requested charges as Dayberry and were referred to the Saline County District Court.
The investigation is ongoing, as more requested charges are pending with the possibility of another suspect.
