The Bennington Bulldogs (2-6) will hit the road for an opening round clash with the Clifton-Clyde Eagles (6-1).
The Eagles are ranked number four in 8-man division one heading into the playoffs, and should provide quite the challenge to a Bennington team looking for a big road upset.
Clifton-Clyde has outscored their opponents 350-128 this season, and their only loss came at the hands of an undefeated Hanover team.
Aside from that, the Eagles rolled to six straight victories over Onaga, Little River, Wakefield, Burlingame and Valley Falls.
The teams seventh and most recent win came two weeks ago against Argonia-Attica in a 48 point rout.
Clifton-Clyde will come into this game well rested following a de-facto bye week in the form of a week eight cancellation of their game against Maranatha Academy.
For Bennington, the road has not been so kind, as the Bulldogs started things off with a win over Wakefield, but followed that up with losses against Washington County, Moundridge and Canton-Galva.
After a major upset over the then undefeated Solomon Gorillas, Bennington lost its last three to Little River, Lincoln and Herrington.
The winner between Bennington and Clifton-Clyde will await the victor of 6-2 Little River and 4-2 Washington County.
