Thomas Mitchell "Tommy" Lewis, 26, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away suddenly at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 1, 2021 at his residence.
Thomas was born in Lamar, Colorado on September 19, 1995, a son of Dean Allen Lewis and Crista Marie (Branchcomb) Sellens.
Tommy attended Washington Grade School, McPherson Junior High and attended McPherson High School, McPherson, Kansas.
Tommy enjoyed fishing, loved his dog "Floyd", snapbacks, joking, doing back flips, wrestling, loved momma's cooking, always had a smile on his face, was always willing to lend a hand and loved spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his mother Crista Sellens and her husband Jerry of McPherson, Kansas; his step-father Jimmy Yianakopulos, of McPherson, Kansas; his siblings Chris Lewis, of McPherson, Kansas, Abbey Yianakopulos, of Wichita, Kansas and E.J. Sellens, of McPherson, Kansas; his grandparents Kristine and Paul Jimenez, of Mesa, Arizona, Mike Hall, of Lamar, Colorado, Larry Yianakopulos, Sr. and Joe Branchcomb, of Des Moines, Iowa.
Tommy was preceded in death by his father Dean Lewis, his grandparents Don and Donna Lewis, his uncles Darren and Dwight McDaniel, his grandmother Sandy Yianakopulos, and his cousin Trenton Yianakopulos.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Glidden - Ediger Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Journey Mennonite Church, McPherson, Kansas, with Pastor Jim Ostlund officiating.
Burial will be at McPherson Cemetery, McPherson, Kansas.
