Detached shed and various items valuing around $100,000 were completely consumed after a fire

A detached shed, along with various items valuing at around $100,000 was completely consumed after a fire occurred.

According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office on Sunday, July 13th at around 10:30 pm, homeowners reported of their detached shed being on fire on 2529 N. Kipp Rd. Sheriff Deputies and Saline County Rural District 5 arrived to the scene and extinguished the fire.

However, the shed was totally consumed along with various items valuing at a loss of around $100,000 - $120,000. The items lost in the fire included:

Chicken coup, a tractor and several power tools, grills and fans.

The Sheriff's Office stated that there were no reports of injuries or death of any chickens from the chicken coup.

An 'electrical issue' may have caused the fire.
