The Saline County Commission in its capacity as the county Board of Health will have a special meeting Friday to consider implementing additional restrictions to combat COVID-19.
The meeting is scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday in room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash Street.
The commissioners are scheduled to meet with Jason Tiller, county health officer/health department director, to consider a proposed health order to implement additional restrictions.
On Monday, the county reported 126 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the previous report on Friday. According to the county report, 383 active cases are being monitored by the Saline County Health Department. As of the Monday report, 17 Saline County residents had died due to COVID-19.
