Police are reviewing neighborhood surveillance video after an SUV was stolen in central Salina Monday night.

A 65-year-old Salina man told police that sometime between 9-11 p.m. Monday, someone stole his black 2012 Hyundai Tucson from where it was parked in the 600 block of Highland Avenue, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning. The man said he had left the residence at approximately 9 p.m. and when he returned, the SUV was gone.

The Tucson had a Kansas license plate of 005LHX, Forrester said. The SUV also had two stickers: one was a white circle with a red elephant on it and the other had "Hutchinson" on it.

The owner told police that the SUV was locked and he still had its keys in his possession.
