Hillsboro - Aldina Mae Franz, 91, passed away January 17, 2022 at Hillsboro Community Hospital in Hillsboro. She was born December 17, 1930 in Goessel to George and Sara (Krause) Flaming. 

She married Raymond Franz November 11, 1951, rural Goessel. 

Survivors include sons Larry (Sue) Franz of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Dale (Melanie) Franz of Hillsboro; brother Howard Flaming of Dallas, Oregon; sister Lawanda Oblander of Newton; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 

Predeceased by husband Raymond Franz in 2017; son Don Franz in 2004; sisters Eleanor Edins, Gladys Nickel. 

Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro officiated by Pastor Jeremy Matlock. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
