Kansas Law Enforcement and First Responders traveled through I-135 for the vehicle escort of fallen Hays Police Department officer,&nbsp;Sgt. Scott Heimann.

The escort started Tuesday afternoon in Wichita and traveled through I-135, past Salina.

Hays Memorial Chapel (1906 Pine Street) is the destination point.

Heimann was killed in the line of duty while responding to a barricaded subject incident. He was pronounced dead just after 4:00 am on Sunday, September 28.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Friday, October 3, at Gross Memorial Coliseum with Fr. Fred Gatschet officiating.&nbsp;&nbsp;
