Eleanor Irene (Graves) Banker, 99, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020. She was a resident at Pinnacle Park Care Center. She was born in Enterprise, KS to John F. and Lola (Lefferson) Graves, on October 10, 1920, the youngest of six children. She was a 1939 graduate of Salina High School and received a teaching certificate from Kansas Wesleyan University. In 1941, Eleanor married Merlin Jasper Banker, celebrating 67 of marriage in 2008.
She was preceded in death by her husband Merlin; daughter, Mary Donna Van Emburgh.
She is survived by her children, Ann (Arnold) Tillberg, M.J. (Sue) Banker, Ed Banker, Barbara (Don) Sams, and Jim Van Emburgh; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2020 at Ryan Mortuary. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, in care of Ryan Mortuary.
