Wyatt Johnson earns KCAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor

WICHITA, Kan. - Wyatt Johnson of Kansas Wesleyan University and Cedric Wilson of Sterling College have earned the KCAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Jan. 12-18 by a vote of conference sports information directors.

All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Athletic Solutions.

Track Athlete of the Week

Wyatt Johnson - Kansas Wesleyan University

Jr. | Lindsborg, Kan.

Johnson's time in the mile (4:16.47) at the Washburn Rust Buster ranks third all-time at KWU in that event. He currently has the 12th-fastest NAIA performance in the mile this season, and ranks second in the KCAC in the event. At the Washburn Rust Buster, he was the top NAIA and KCAC finisher out of 102 competitors.
