A male suspect was issued a detainer by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), after his arrest was made for violating a protection order in Salina.
According to the Salina Police Department authorities arrested 43-year old Martinez Gabriel Luna on Tuesday, June 3rd, after he was spotted at a Salina residence in which he was barred from being a pursuant to a Protection Order.
Luna was then booked into the Saline County Jail and was charged with 2 counts of Violation of a Protection Order.
Once the Saline County Sheriff's Office received Luna, ICE placed a detainer on him. According to the Sheriff's Office, ICE has 48 hours to pick Luna up from the time he is released from custody.
