Posted Jul 08, 2021 12:05 PM

ABILENE - The next Ike's Virtual Book Club is coming up next week.

The program is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday and is open to the public at no charge. Connect to the program online or by phone. Join this program as if you were meeting your friends in a cozy café or living room with a glass of wine -- even if you have not read the book.

The July book selection is The Right Stuff  by Tom Wolfe. The Right Stuff is an in-depth look at NASA's test pilot program through the eyes of the Magnificent Seven and their families. The book was adapted as a film and later a television series of the same name.

The entire reading list schedule is available on the Eisenhower Presidential Library's website.
