The results of a final forensic pathologist report for a 7-week old infant who died late July in Salina, are expected to be released in September.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD), Frontier Forensics Midwest (out of Kansas City) updated SPD that their autopsy reports take about 8-10 weeks to return. SPD stated it has been 4 weeks since the autopsy report started for the 7-week old infant who passed away on Wednesday, July 23rd.

SPD stated the 7-week old infant was a male, and passed away inside a home in east Salina.
According to SPD, the initial report was a medical emergency made by the infant's parents who found their child to be 'unresponsive.'
