UPDATE: Minor quakes shake part of SE Saline County Wednesday morning

UPDATE 8:45 p.m. Wednesday: A second 2.3 magnitude quake struck southeastern Saline County Wednesday, according to the Kansas Geological Survey.

The quake struck at 12:08 p.m. and was centered north of E. Hedberg Road between S. Niles Road and S. Cunningham Road.

GYPSUM - A minor earthquake struck southeastern Saline County early this morning.

The Kansas Geological Survey reported that a 2.3 magnitude quake struck at 1:25 a.m. Wednesday southwest of Gypsum. It was centered just south of E. Assaria Road between S. Cunningham Road and S. Woodward Road.
