MARION - A minor earthquake shook part of eastern Marion County Sunday morning.

According to information from the Kansas Geological Survey, the 2.8 magnitude quake struck east-northeast of Marion at 5:32 a.m. Sunday. It was centered northeast of the Clover Road/220th Street intersection near the Marion-Chase county line.
