CLAY CENTER -- For the second consecutive year, Clay County Medical Center (CCMC) has been named one of the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) in America.
The Top 20 “winners” are those hospitals that have achieved success in overall hospital performance in eight pillars:

CCMC was selected from The Chartis Center for Rural Health’s 2021 Top 100 CAH list, which was released earlier this year.

The National Rural Health Association names the Top 20 from a larger set of Top 100 CAHs, which is evaluated and produced by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. Both the Top 20 and Top 100 performing CAHs are identified through iVantage Health Analytics’ Hospital Strength INDEX®, the most comprehensive and objective assessments of hospital performance.
