Police are investigating the theft of multiple items from a pickup parked in a downtown lot.
Robert Muller, 40, of Salina, told police that sometime between 9 p.m. Saturday and 12:10 a.m. Sunday, someone entered his 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Crew Cab pickup while it was parked in a lot at the intersection of N. Santa Fe and Ash Street, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester reported this morning. Muller told police that he believed he must have left the pickup unlocked as there was no damage to the vehicle, Forrester noted.
Kimberly Dudenhoeffer- Muller, 40, of Salina, reported that her white Louis Vuitton purse and its contents were missing, as were a pair of nude colored Louis Vuitton heels and a pair of Cole Haan sandals. Total loss was estimated at $2,722, Forrester noted.
