The Salina Salvation Army needs your help. Bell ringers are needed to assist the organization with its largest fundraiser of the year.
"We are in desperate need of bell ringers now more than ever," said Salina Salvation Army Lieutenant Luke Hursh. "We are about 1/4th of the way to our goal of $95,000."
Hursh said funds raised in Salina stay in Salina.
"If we don't raise enough money we have to think about what we might have to cut to keep things going," Hursh said. "We don't want to cut programs. We want to expand and do more with programs like the Bravo Music and Creative Arts which provides free music lessons, or our feeding program and emergency services for those in need."
Bell ringers will be needed at the various Christmas Kettle locations until Dec. 24.
