GYPSUM - Some people in southeast Saline County got a different sort of wakeup call this morning as a minor earthquake rattled the area.
According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.4 magnitude quake struck southwest of Gypsum at 5:47 a.m. Friday. It was centered northwest of the E. Hedberg Road/S. Whitmore Road intersection.
