EL DORADO - Cheryl’s life began on December 8, 1962, in Wichita. She is the daughter of James and Francis “Jane” (Goforth) Hampton.
Cheryl is a graduate of Valley Center High School and attended college for the CNA certificate. She had worked as a CNA at Wheatstate Manor in Whitewater.
Cheryl is survived by her mother Jane Hampton of Potwin; siblings Becky Builta of Potwin, Kimberly Trumpower of Potwin, and Jared Hampton of Potwin; nieces and nephews Melissa Beasley, Jessica Ritter, Justin Builta, Christopher Hampton, Tony Lewis and Michael Lewis and several great-nieces and great nephews.
Cheryl passed away at her home in El Dorado on Thursday, April 6, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her father, and brother Pete Hampton.
A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
