LAWRENCE, Kan. – The 2025 Dillons Sunflower Showdown between the Kansas Jayhawks and the Kansas State Wildcats will kick off at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 25, at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium, the Big 12 Conference announced on Monday. The game will air on TNT with a simulcast on truTV and HBO MAX.
It will be the 123rd meeting between the two schools, in a series that the Jayhawks lead all-time, 65-52-5, including a 37-23-2 record in games played in Lawrence.
The 11 a.m. kickoff will be Kansas' second morning game of the season, after hosting Cincinnati on Sept. 27. The Jayhawks will also take on Utah in their regular season finale on Nov. 28 at 11 a.m. This will be Kansas' second game on TNT this year.The Jayhawks will enter the Dillons Sunflower Showdown fresh off a bye, following a 42-17 loss at Texas Tech on Oct. 11. Kansas holds a 4-3 overall record with a 2-2 mark in Big 12 Conference play.
The Jayhawks have had success following a bye under head coach Lance Leipold, where the Jayhawks are 5-1, including a 41-10 win over West Virginia following a bye earlier this year.
