It's a three-peat for Kansas Wesleyan's Josie Deckinger. Deckinger was announced on Monday as the KCAC Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week for a third consecutive week for her efforts in two wins for the Coyotes last week.
Wesleyan went 2-0 last week, sweeping Tabor in straight sets, and winning in four sets over Saint Mary. The victories boosted KWU's winning streak to 10 matches, as the Coyotes are 16-7 overall and 5-0 in the KCAC heading into action this week.
Deckinger led the Coyotes to two big wins this week, averaging 13.14 kills per set, with 43 against Tabor and 49 against Saint Mary, helping KWU win its 10th straight match. She also made it a double-double with 13 digs against Saint Mary.
This marks the third consecutive week in which Deckinger has been named the KCAC Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week, and the third time overall this season.
Wesleyan is back in action this week, hosting Doane University on Wednesday, and Avila on Friday.
