Severe storms are expected for Friday.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita, the primary threats will be two inch hail and 60-70 mph winds. Isolated flooding is also possible, especially in areas that received heavy rain this week.
The storms could start as early as 3-6 p.m. in central Kansas, but are more likely during the evening. The storms could persist through much of the night, but the intensity should wane after midnight.
