Kansas Wesleyan's Ivi Marcolino was selected as the KCAC Women's Volleyball Attacker of the Week announced by the KCAC conference office. Student-athletes are selected for their performances from Aug. 24-30 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Athletic Solutions.

Marcolino had a stellar week for the Coyotes, averaging 4.86 kills per set while hitting .287 on the week in two matches helping KWU to a 1-1 record.

Against Stephens in a 3-0 win, she had eight kills, averaging 2.67 per set, and also added 2.33 digs per set and had one service ace.

Against Oklahoma City University in a 3-1 loss, she had 26 kills, averaging 6.50 per set while hitting .317 in the match. She also had one block and averaged 1.5 digs per set.

Her play against OCU was a huge factor in the Coyotes taking two sets to extra points against the undefeated Stars, who have wins over Oklahoma Wesleyan, Evangel and Texas A&M-Texarkana on the season.
