SALINA - David W. Nely, age 71, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Wesley Hospital, Wichita, KS. He was born March 24, 1950 in Wichita, KS to Winfred and Betty (DeBus) Nely.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Regina (Thall) Nely; sister Melody Gibert (husband Forest); sons Jeremy Nely (wife Elizabeth) and Nathan Nely (wife Rebecca); daughter Lisa (Thall) Gropp and son Tom Thall; grandchildren Alexander, Jackson, Isabel, Eternity, Derek and Christopher, and Casey.; great-grandchild Lilyan.
Memorial mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Queen of the Universal Catholic Church and sent in care of Ryan Mortuary. No visitation as cremation was chosen.
Due to the pandemic family has requested that mask be worn and social distancing be used.
