WICHITA, Kan. - Kansas Wesleyan running back D'Heaven Domena has been selected as the KCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in KWU's 35-0 win over Sterling College Warriors on Saturday.
Domena registered a career-high 40 carries for a career-high high 259 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday's game. He also had 51 yards receiving on two catches for the Coyotes giving him 310 yards from scrimmage in the game.
His 40 carries are the most for a KWU player since Demarco Prewitt had 44 carries on October 26, 2019, and his 259 yards rushing are the most for a player since Prewitt's school record 314-yard performance against Bethel on October 26, 2018.
