CLOUD COUNTY— One person was injured in an accident just after noon Monday in Cloud County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by Matthew Saucedo, 28, Crete, Nebraska, was southbound on U.S. 81 approximately three miles north of Concordia.
The SUV rear-ended a 2017 John Deere Combine driven by Nathanael Ohlde, 25, Concordia, who was on the right shoulder and partially in the driving lane with the hazard lights on.
EMS transported Ohlde to North Central Kansas Medical Center. Saucedo was not injured and properly restrained, according to the KHP.
