Smith Center - Eda Jean Sheppard, 99, passed away January 10, 2021 at Parkside Home in Hillsboro. She was born to Leslie and Saloma (Baker) Lippitt in Joplin, Missouri.
She marred Dr. R.G. Sheppard June 28, 1945 in Joplin, Missouri.
Survivors include: sons, Mike (Margie) Sheppard of Olathe, Dave (Marla) Sheppard of Hillsboro; daughter, Debbie (Demetre) Evangelidis of Manhattan; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband, Dr. R.G. Sheppard in 2012.
Public viewing from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Family will not be present due to COVID 19.
