Mary Della Basel, 68, of Abilene, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, February 5th, 2025.Mary was born in Torrance, California on June 21st, 1956, to Jacqueline Yvonne Bowen and Herbert Leon Todd.Mary and her husband, Gary Basel, were married March 6th, 2009.In her free time, she loved to fish, gamble, watch the Chiefs, play her guitar, and sing. Survivors include her husband, Gary; sons, Justin Jerome (Dyan), Michael Gray (Christine); daughter, Melissa Jerome; step son, Brandon Basel (Idalou); uncle, John Bowen (Michelle); brothers, Butch Fish (Yvonne), Brian Fish (Terri); sisters, Geri Sue Cochran (John), Edie Olson (Jason), Carolyn Wagner; brothers, Don Basel (Cindy), Larry Basel (Nancy); and father-in-law; George Basel.She is also survived by numerous other family members.Mary is preceded in death by parents; infant brother, Michael Todd; and brother, Randy Todd.Cremation has been chosen and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
