Georgia M. Largent, age 82, of Concordia, KS, left this earthly life on Thursday, September 30, 2021, surrounded by her family at Park Villa Nursing Home, Clyde, KS. She was born on Jan. 25, 1939 in Greenleaf, KS to Algare “Pete” & Lula “Blanche” (Clintsman) Davenport.
She graduated from Concordia High School class of 1958. She married Robert J. Largent on Oct. 12, 1958 in Concordia. She worked as an assistant for Dr. Boardman and later Dr. Miller optometry. She was a member of The Baptist Church and the VFW #588 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Robert ‘Bob’, Concordia; son, Randy Largent, Concordia; daughter, Michelle Metro (Jim), Concordia; grandchildren, Jordan Metro (Kelsey), Marion & Jera Metro, Concordia & great grandchildren, Kaelynn & Peyton Metro and Boone Metro.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Herman Lee Davenport.
It was Georgia’s wishes to be cremated and Memorial services will be 10:30 am, Thurs., Oct. 7, 2021 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Dennis Knapp officiating. Visitation is Wed., Oct. 6, 2021 from 1-8 pm with the family greeting friends from 6-7 pm at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
