Male suspect faces rape charge after touching a female teenager inappropriately.&nbsp;

According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Wednesday, a 17-year old woman reported she was walking in the 600 block of N. Sante Fe at around 8:30 pm, when a man suddenly approached her.

Both began a conversation as they walked, when eventually they went into a dark area in the 500 block of N. Santa Fe. The man then touched the woman&nbsp;inappropriately.&nbsp;

After the woman notified SPD about the incident, their investigation indicated the man as&nbsp;38-year-old, Johnny Baldwin. At around 4:45 pm the next day, Baldwin was located by officers in the 1000 block of S. Santa Fe and was taken into custody without incident.

Baldwin is facing the requested charge of one count of Rape and booked into the Saline County Jail.
