
MCPHERSON, County — Authorities are seeking information after the driver of a vehicle apparently left the scene of an early-morning rollover crash on Interstate 135.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the rollover at about 3 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7.
When deputies arrived, they determined the driver had left the crash scene before speaking with law enforcement.
The Sheriff’s Office said the driver apparently left several personal belongings behind, including a cellphone. Authorities indicated the phone had received an incoming call after the crash.
Authorities said the driver can contact the Sheriff’s Office to discuss retrieving the cellphone and other personal belongings left at the scene.
The Sheriff’s Office is also asking anyone who witnessed the rollover or has information about the circumstances surrounding the crash or the identity of the driver to contact the department.
No information was immediately provided about what may have caused the crash or whether anyone was injured.
