A woman was cited after a two-vehicle wreck in central Salina early Monday afternoon.
Aislinn Alden, 29, of Salina, was eastbound on E. Beloit Avenue in a 2015 Kia Optima when she failed to yield the right-of-way and struck a southbound 2018 Ford F150 pickup driven by Stephen Rincon, 32, of Salina, in the intersection with Lewis Avenue, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester reported this morning. The wreck occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. Monday.
Rincon suffered possible minor injuries, Forrester noted.
The Optima sustained front-end damage and the pickup sustained passenger-side damage. Both were towed from the scene.
According to Forrester, Alden was cited for not driving at a speed reasonable and prudent.
