A juvenile was arrested after allegedly stabbing a teenage boy, threatening a teenage girl and pushing a male child.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) in the evening hours of Friday, August 29th, a 17-year old boy was reportedly transported to the ER at Salina Regional Hospital, after he suffered a stab wound to his stomach. An officer interviewed the boy and further information revealed that there was a 'large gathering at Indian Rock Park' before he was stabbed.
Reportedly, a disturbance occurred during the midst of the gathering, which led to a 17-year female suspect who allegedly stabbed the boy in the stomach with a small knife. SPD stated the suspect also threatened to 'slit the throat' of a 17-year old girl and pushed an 8-year old boy.
Later that same night, authorities were able to locate the suspect at a home in South Salina. Authorities arrested the suspect without incident for the following requested charges of:
Aggravated Battery, Possession of Marijuana, Battery and Criminal Threat.
The 17-year old suspect was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center in Junction City, KS.
