Michael William Bain was born on January 10, 1939 in Signournay, Iowa and passed away in Salina, Kansas on February 4, 2021.
He was a radio operator in the United States Army where he received the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Award Medal. He had been employed at the grain elevators, Brown Mackie Busines School and Schwan’s. He married Virginia Welton on December 31, 1977 at the Emmanuel Foursquare Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife and brother. He is survived by a daughter and Virginia’s three sons and their wives, Robert and Angela Holston, Salina, David and Christi Holston of Illinois, Richard and Cathy Holston of Kentucky and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to Emmanuel Salina in care of Ryan Mortuary. Funeral services will not be held at this time due to COVID.
