Geraldine Schuster, age 87 of Waller, passed away on January 7, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her parents Leo and Helen Reiswig.
Geraldine is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Delbert Schuster; sons Joe and wife Cassie, John, James and wife Tracy; daughter-in-law Donna; grandchildren Christy, David, Jennifer, Jaclyn, Jessica; great grandchildren Cameron, David Jr., Cayden, Olivia, Wesley, Dax, Chayse, Ryli, Jaxson; as well as many friends.
Geri will be remembered most of all for the love she had for her family. She will be remembered for her love of cooking, her many specialty dishes, like spaghetti chicken and porcupine meatballs, and her love of playing games. Family gatherings always included spirited games of wahoo, cribbage, canasta, or any card game that the family dared to take her on with. Yes, she could be very competitive! It was always better to be on her side, than on the opposing team. She will also be remembered for her love of traveling, and her Houston Astros.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 12-2pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2pm with Pastor Tom Dobbs officiating. Visitation in Marion will be from 11a.m. until 12 p.m on January 20, 2024 at Yazel Megli Funeral Home, Marion. She will be laid to rest in Marion Cemetery.
