What does Indian Territory have to do with Kansas? Well, actually a lot.
Join Jancita Warrington, Tribal historian, as she explains how Kansas was part of the original Indian Territory and the tribes that were affected. Warrington was born and raised on the Menominee Reservation in northern Wisconsin. She descends from the Menominee, Potawatomi and Ho-Chunk Nations. She holds an undergraduate degree in American Indian Studies and degrees in Tribal Law & Policy and Cultural Preservation-Museum Management from the University of Kansas.
