On Sept. 20, the Smoky View 4-H Club held its officer elections during its September meeting.
New officers were elected for the new 4-H year starting in October. Club members were elected to the following offices:
●Karson Pihl became the club’s new president.
●The new vice president for the club is Emma Littich.
●Brynna Anderson became the secretary, and Kayla Norberg is the treasurer.
●Marik Anderson is the new junior president; Katelyn Griffin became the junior vice president.
●The junior treasurer is Remington Lofdahl; the junior secretary is Wyatt Griffin.
●Eian Pracht became the reporter.
●The new parliamentarians are Adison Trautwein and Hensli Lofdahl.
●Aspen Trautwein and Eddie Littich became the new song leaders.
●The recreational leaders for the next 4-H year are Marik Anderson and Audrey Trautwein.
●The club’s new safety officers will be Krew Swisher and Katelyn Griffin.
●Adison Trautwein will be the club’s greeter for this 4-H year.
●The attendance secretary will be Kenzie Isaacson.
●Maia Pracht and Acacia Pracht will be the record book secretaries.
●Ridge Johnson is going to be sergeant of arms for the club.
●Kayla Norberg will become the historian.
●The new district council representatives will be Karson Pihl, Emma Littich, Hensli Lofdahl, and Brynna Anderson.
During this meeting, Eddie Littich and Emma Littich showed presentations to the rest of the club.
Emma Littich showed how to write a thank-you card for 4-H sponsors. This included how to start and end a thank you card, and what to write in between.
Eddie Littich talked about his garden, where he grew onions and other vegetables.
Club members also received their fair premiums, which are checks given to the club members for what they exhibited at the county fair.
The Smoky View 4-H Club will have its next meeting on Oct. 17.
