Salina is ready to welcome the 9th Kansas Burlington store next week with a grand opening.

Burlington Stores Inc., a national discount retailer offering low prices every day on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home, is officially opening their doors in Salina on Friday, August 15th at the Mid State Plaza on 2450 S. 9th. The grand opening will be celebrated with a ribbon cutting event.

Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, on Friday and Saturday August 15 & 16 the first 100 customers, aged 18 and up, enjoy a $10 Bonus Card to be used toward their purchase.

Not only will Burlington offer great deals, but they will also donate $5,000 to a selected local high-needs school through their long-standing partnership with the national non-profit organization AdoptAClassroom.org.

According to Burlington, the funds will be used to provide students with classroom materials they need to learn and succeed. The presentation of the donation to the local school community will take place at the ribbon cutting ceremony.
