A flash flood watch has been issued for some counties in our area.
The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a flash flood watch in effect Wednesday evening through Thursday morning for the following counties in our area.
Clay County
Cloud County
Republic County
A very humid airmass is forecast to move into north central and northeast Kansas overnight as thunderstorms develop. These storms may be very efficient rainfall producers with some locations receiving 1 to 3 inches of rain in a few hours. This rain could lead to flash flooding.
